(not forgetting we are English)I have used different date formats in Excel - sometimes depends on how you want to sort the column/row.dd/mm/yy dd/mm/yyyymm/dd/yy mm/dd/yyyyyyyymmddd/m/yy d/m/yyyy (this would use only a single digit for the month or day where appropriate, .i.e: 1 not 01).... and so on. It was only the Yanks who wanted to be bigger, different and better than anyone else, especially the limeys. So they dreamt up the short gallon, ton etc. As for the French they decided to trash the Ingles and abolish the yard coming up with the metre basing that on the distance from the equator to the North Pole and they tried to move the refence longitude from Greewich to Paris, of all places! there was njothing better than the English Cloth Yard, served us well at Agincourt.Bring back the traditional English values like Flogging Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
