If you are like me and a bit of a software nut then you probably load all sorts of stuff onto your PC.... then realise that perhaps it wasn't such a good idea and uninstall it and before you know it there are bits of registry all over the place that have bits of old programs cluttering them up and slowing your system down!!!! :blink:

basically it provides a sandbox to load your new programs into and try them out. It won't change the registry as such.

Well if you want me to remove ME and re-install 98SE to do this - I will, but it is a little inconvenient :D
