Garridon
I want a screen with a higher resolution. My laptop is the acer aspire 5253 with an led screen and a resolution of 1366x768. Is it possible?
-pops-
It has a VGA connector for you to add another monitor. Whether this will offer a higher resolution, I don't know.
Gandalph
Your screen resolution is controlled from your graphics card. I don't think it will matter what screen you connect to it it will only show the maximum resolution the graphics card will allow.
Garridon
My VGA and HDMI ports both output up to 1080p, i would assume my built in laptop screen would do the same (if the screen supported it). What im asking is if i were to buy a replacement screen panel for a different laptop with the same screen size, would hooking it up to replace my crappy one work? or would some bios kernel reject it or something.
