The sets that I saw illustrated had a very large No. of colours which showed great detail.Powerless or anuone else, a very good start is a book, sorry have just checked my library and one of the family seem to have nicked the book I was looking for. It was on Chaos. I have tested the maths with my little notepad and pencil and have to say that I'm not 100% about the iterates approaching infinity. surely if they remain bounded then they would be restricted in some way. Now the graphical illustration was very interesting but I felt that the initial values were slightly out. Now I can't actually agree with this because if you look at the lovely graph that is provided to demonstrate this you will see that it clearly only goes to three.
