Jerome308
When trying to access my inserted USB flash drive, the windows always gives me a error message and say: “The disk is not formatted. Do you want to format it now?” It seems I will never access this drive without formatting. But, my USB flash drive has stored most of my papers and files. I cannot format it to clean them all. Is there anyway to help me out? I need to rescue my files there. Thank you in advance!
Alan2273
Have a read of this.http://html5.litten.com/how-to-fix-external-disk-drive-suddenly-became-raw/ If that does not work there are another two options.First.http://www.piriform.com/recuva/download Second Use a live Linux CD/DVD to access the files and transfer them to another drive.http://lifehacker.com/192982/geek-to-live--rescue-files-with-a-boot-cd

andsome
This is one reason why all my photos are on duplicated memory sticks, besides being on another internal D drive. All my saved mails with details of paid for programs etc, are on another two duplicated memory sticks. Memory sticks are so cheap it pays to do this.
