andsome
We have visited Lichfield Cathedral this morning to pay our last respects to a wonderful and inspiring young man, STEPHEN SUTTON. At the bottom of this post I have included a photo of his coffin taken in the cathedral. The place was packed with people doing the same as us. It is extremely rare for a person such as he to lie in a place like that for people to visit and pay their respects. When he was diagnosed with terminal cancer he set out to raise £10,000 for a young persons cancer trust, to date the donations have reached over £4,000,000. I urge those of you who feel as I do that this is a worth while cause to donate on line. https://www.justgiving.com/stephen-sutton-tct Here also is a link to an article about Stephen. http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2014/may/29/stephen-sutton-vigil-celebrate-life-inspiration At 11 A.M. hundreds gathered outside the cathedral to give a mass thumbs up in his memory. Gandalph
I've also been following Stephens story. He really was a remarkable young man. He wasn't going to let his condition get the better of him, at least he didn't show that it was. He has done wonderful things with the time he had left. His online fund raising was truly remarkable when you think about it. May he rest in peace.
