Apparently this time it's all the NFLs fault, they will ruin the pitch for England but apparently not for their opponents who are presumably more genetically predisposed to playing on poor surfaces. As opposed to the Premier League ballerinas who will trip and hurt themselves if asked to play on anything rougher than a billiard table. What Roy seems to forget is that England game attendances are down the toilet as they haven't been worth watching for decades. As a result the FA are looking to get shot of Wembley completely and are hoping the NFL will take it off there hands.So if Roy wants to be the main man in Wembley try getting together a team that plays like they mean it and not like a local equivalent of the hapless hopeless Oakland Raiders. I blame the public who pay the outrageous admission prices to get into these games, thereby encouraging the gross over payments to the prima donnas. Nothing was more exciting than the recent cup match at Warrington, where a team of part timers played their hearts out for the sheer joy of the game.
