johnoo
Today I've had a fair few of the above problems. On the page there is a button that says "Fix Connection Problems" when I select this "Windows Network Diagnostics" runs & always gives this message:-"Windows could not automatically detect the proxy setting"I generally use Internet Explorer Version 11 & I use a BT Router type 4.Have tried using Firefox, which I don't like as a Browser, & I don't think I get the problem when using this.I use AVG & Malwarebytes & these do not show any problem.Any ideas of what to do? -pops-
I've been having problems as well. I've a feeling it's the Internet itself rather than anything to do with us, the users. There's always an assumption that faults and errors are our fault, forgetting that the Internet itself can err - which I think is happening this afternoon. A difficulty with all of this is that, by assuming it is us at fault, we may make insufficiently considered alterations to our equipment such that when we are back on stream, things are different to before - usually worse! Thank goodness for System Restore!
