mr.snakeman
I´m not able to view videos on my pc. On You Tube I have audio and can see the small thumbnail pics but the video when played is completely black. Any help, please in baby steps as I know almost nothing. Gandalph
Have you tried downloading Flash player from Adobe. If not, download it and see if that sorts your problem out.

ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
What is your installed Flash Player version? What is your display adapter and driver version & date? Run dxdiag if you are not sure. Post a picture of the Display tab page to give us the results from dxdiag, like
mr.snakeman
Thanks for the tips. Apparently flash player is not installed-I thought it was. I have downloaded the file (16.8mb) but when I try to install it I get a box asking me which program I want to open it with-previously installed programs like media player and Adobe reader, etc. instead of the regular installation boxes (conditions, accept/not accept, etc.). I don´t know how to get there or to stop the first box from opening everytime I try to install a new program.

mr.snakeman
Actually no, I don´t want (or to add to) the "open with" box to appear when a program is downloaded but rather that the program goes into install mode so that the program is installed when asked if I want to open or save it. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I have downloaded the file (16.8mb) ... I don't know what you downloaded, or from where. The latest Flash Player installers (from Adobe) are Flash Player for Internet Exporer - ActiveX (16.7 MB) Flash Player for Firefox - NPAPI (17.2 MB)
