casey Posted November 14, 2015 Report Share Posted November 14, 2015 A friend of mine wants to know if he purchased a Windows 10 tablet would he be able to install any windows programme or would he be restricted to only apps designed for tablets ? AlanHo Posted November 14, 2015 Report Share Posted November 14, 2015 My guess, being an owner of a windows Lumia phone, is that he would only be able to install windows store apps. The software has to be designed to use touch screens and not keyboard/mouse. There is a free App in the windows store called Omni Media Converter which converts some video formats to mp3 and mp4 but I have no idea how good it is and which video formats it converts from.
