johnoo
My "C" drive has about 212Gb of used space. This consists of Documents 4Gb, Pictures 15Gb, Music 2Gb. But after i carried out a True Image Back up, Discs & Partitions, the file size is only 54Gb Question why difference between 212 & 54Gb? Boris
Are you trying to ask why the .tib file is only 54GB, when you think it should be the same as the 212GB used on C ? This :- https://forum.acronis.com/forum/acronis-true-image-2016-forum/expected-compression-level may explain ?

Boris, Many thanks, the information about compression in the link is a bit open ended, but it led me to the Acronis web site & I've asked for the information for my product. So many thanks
