Unlike the Google mapping vehicle - which is a standard Vauxhall Astra car with a small tower of cameras mounted on its roof rack - the Apple one is a van with a more streamlined array of cameras on its roof. I didn't get a photo of it - but I found this image of a similar van on the web.
