swifter_uk Posted November 5, 2003 Report Share Posted November 5, 2003 Firstly, may i say how pleased I am to have stumbled upon this forum via the Invision Support Forums.My Problem is this, over the last few months my PC has stopped recording visits to sites in my History Folder, not a great problem since my Favorites folders cover most of what I view anyhow, but a slight annoyance when trying to remember that site you viewed briefly & forgot to save :wacko: I tried to repair using my XP Pro disc & it returned but only briefly, once logged off the net, it had gone again when I returned.I have access to the History folder just nothing in it when I open it on screen.Could it be something I inadvertently turned off? CAUSEThis behavior can occur if your user name contains a number sign (#) or an at sign (@). For example, this behavior can occur if your user name is "User#1" or "User@Work". RESOLUTIONTo prevent this behavior from occurring, do not use a number sign or an at sign in your user name.
