efrenz Posted November 13, 2003 Report Share Posted November 13, 2003 I'm having a problem where my home page keeps on being set to a page that I don't want. I'll go into internet options and reset it to the page i want, but if whenever i turn off the computer, and turn back on, its back where I dont want it. I've run norton AV, and have had all the trojan files deleted, as well as deleted on my saved files and cookies, but to no avail. -pops- Posted November 13, 2003 Report Share Posted November 13, 2003 To keep your home page as you want it to be, install Startpage Guard http://www.webattack.com/get/startpageguard.shtmlDo you have Ad-aware and/or Spybot S&D installed? These can go a long way to checking up on undesirables being downloaded into your machine and if you install SpywareBlaster you can stop them being downloaded at all.
