I can open them from the 2k but that's just looking at them on the 98 machine, isn't it ?EDIT : yep, I just did. I think I mentioned before that the XP machine, with twin disks, one running NTFS and one running FAT32, I have set this one (XP) as the server, with the internet NIC set by DHCP, and the local network address is set as 192.168.*(1-254).* (1-254).The clients are both DHCP, from here.Then the Internet connection was shared, bingo, all up and screaming. Can have all three doing updates at the same time. :D It is also useful in upgrading the customer computers when they want 98SE on them. Guessing really, but I'm NTFS on the 2k and it won't even look at the 98's when the 'guest' channel is open without explorer closing down. I'm OK with the way it is though as it's convenient just for the 2k to be able to access the (blind) 98's .
