Craig Posted February 1, 2003 Report Share Posted February 1, 2003 Just found out on the news that the space shuttle 'Columbia' is missing.I have seen some footage on BBC News 24 which show the shuttle making its way though the atmosphere in three pieces.The news is still sketchy, but i will keep you updated.(if you have information relating to this topic, please add it). Prince of Calcutta Posted February 1, 2003 Report Share Posted February 1, 2003 just came here to make a post about this. didn't realise there'd be a discussion already going on... a real pity actually. they said that the shuttle was apparently too high to make an emergency landing and there's a lot of speculation that the cause was some loose tiles from the heat sheilding.
