Guest northamuk
Just got 3 returned emails addressed to **********, I didn't send them and they all included 2 attachments. I deleted all of them. Might be an idea to be on the lookout for similar returned mail.

andsome
This posting illustrates the beauty of using Mailwasher. Any doubtful e-mails can be read on the server site, with no fear of putting a virus on the computer. I list ALL genuine e-mail senders in the FRIEND list. Any you don't want can be deleted on the server site. This of course is old news to the converted, but is well worth consideration by the non converted. moon
I use it too, andsome, but still watch out for viruses in email from your 'Friends' list.Turning off the Outlook Express 'Preview' window stops mail from opening on auto. I always scan e-mail attachments separately with Norton AV, even though they have been scanned on arrival. I closed the preview pane many MOONS ago, in response to a tip on this forum. doug
Not sure if I've turned off the preview pane since I upgraded to XP. Just had a look round and can't see where to do the dirty. Could someone remind me?
