Ash
Any deleted users cause a number to be lost, I know that...but 131 is a tad big for just that. Early database problems...?

Guest northamuk
I do believe Craig, in his wisdom, deleted a large number of members who had posted zilch. This screwed up the numbering. :P

Guest nellie2
Triathlon!!! I've got a story about a triathlon............here goes.A few years ago my boss who was a bit of a sporty freak, was trying to get a team together to do a local triathlon. He didn't have any girls on the team and spent ages trying to persuade a few of us to join in..... oh come on he would say it's just for fun. All you have to do is swim the width of the river (The Dee which isn't that wide by the bridge!!), then do a four mile run and a seven mile cycle ride. Ok I said, I can manage that and it is for charity!!Famous last words!!! It turned out that the triathlon was the national Firemans triathlon, a mile swim up the river against the current, a seven mile run and a twenty six mile cycle ride............guess who was last!!! :(
Guest Drovers Dog
:P I can relate to that, many years ago, my sister and I, only bits of kids, used to swim accross the Murrumbidgee River, just below Berembed Weir! The river dropped 20 feet on the downside, and that was our favourite spot to swim! We could get accross and would only lose about 20 feet in the distance, then walk back up stream and swim back!!This guy was watching us, and decided to do the same!!Three hours later he came staggering up our side of the River, scratched and bleeding!!! lol lol :innocent: :D
