:blink: OK I broke it again :whistling: Stupid box never does what I want it to do :sneaky: Then it breaks and I have to reformat and reload everything :whistling: So what did I do wrong. I know turned it on. :innocent: But at least it got a good cleaning out. :blush:

Thanks nellie2. Was my own fault knew what I did right after I did it, Will learn to leave the register alone one of these days. I was cleaning house so to speak as I had D/Led a bunch of STUFF and trying them out.

But all is well now :innocent: . Have XP Pro back up an secure I hope. Still haven't decided if I'm going to add another browser or IE shell. Have IE 6 SP1 running now and I think secure.

Have 2 A/Vs 1 on 1 off, Firewall,Ad Aware, Spybot S&D, Some Javacool programs,XP Antispy, IE Spyad, A2, & Mailguard.

Something notably missing from your list of safety and security devices, Terryala, is a backup.

If I ever have the inclination/inspiration to try/download any new software, or even install new hardware, I make a full system backup. This is in addition to my routine backup procedures.

By doing this, I know I can be running again, just as before, within a few minutes.

Try it - you may save yourself a lot of heartache :)
