Using the word gay in this concept is an Americanism, the word should be homosexual. I am not getting at homosexuals at all by saying this, I just don't like to see our language corrupted by Americanism's. It's the same thing with the kid's these days saying 'like' almost as often as every other word, eg, instead of 'I was ill', they say 'I was like ill'. Instead of saying 'He said', they say 'He went'. It's as bad as calling a chairwoman or chairman a chair, eg, he was chair of the club.
