doug Posted February 6, 2004 Report Share Posted February 6, 2004 Following my previous threads it looks as though my problems could be because I had installed XP as an upgrade over 98SE. So I'm biting the bullet and going for a defrag and install from new - God help me. In order to ensure that I have a total and complete back up, I'm going to export my address book. Documents etc I'll be copying to second HD. I have all my driver disc's - at least last time I looked. Now I need some advice as to saving all my recent e-mails and favourites and that will be it - unless I've forgotten something else that's critical. -pops- Posted February 6, 2004 Report Share Posted February 6, 2004 You should be able to save all your personal stuff by using the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard. I have used this a number of times to transfer W9X to XP and XP to XP via Zip disks or CD. You can transfer to another HDD, I believe.All is explained in Help & Support or in the FSTW itself which can be found in System Tools (Start-> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools).
