Damo
Just got Mandrake Linux (Off Craig!! :P) but I'm completely lost with it, managed to install it on my empty partition, but when booting into linux and it runs through its checks but come up with 'Failed' at 'Bringing up interface eth0', I'm pressuming it's something to do with my Ethernet card in my laptop, then another line comes up 'Starting ALSA version 0.9.0rc8' and it just hangs on that, nothing else happens so I can't even get into linux!Any ideas before I go back to XP! :o

Damo
Ok, i've managed to get into linux by using the interactive boot up and bypassing the eth0 and ASLA options so I now have no sound, I'm guessing it's problems with the drivers?
