Boris
http://www.softwarepatch.com/software/oebackup.htmlOE Backup 2.9 (free Outlook Express Backup tool)RequirementsAny version of Windows running Outlook Express 5 or 6Few people know how to backup messages, settings, address books or rules in Outlook Express. How would you feel if one day you lost all your messages and contact details but had no backup ? :( In addition, there may come a time when you want to move your Outlook Express files and settings to another computer. There is no simple button in Outlook Express to backup files, but there is this free program.OE Backup will backup (and restore) all your Outlook Express settings and messages. The processes are managed with a few clicks of the mouse. Importantly, the program doesn't use specialised file formats (some backup programs require you to use the exact same software to restore files). This means you have the choice to use the program to restore your backup, or do it manually without the program.

-pops-
How would you feel if one day you lost all your messages and contact details but had no backup ? :(One of the most important things in computing is to have a backup. Anyone that doesn't is, shall we say, less than wise.I have oft stated this but I make a rotating weekly full system backup, a daily files and data backup on a grandfather, father, son basis and I always make a backup prior to installing ANY hardware or software.Good as this program may be, it is no substitute for having a proper setup in operation. Boris
Good as this program may be, it is no substitute for having a proper setup in operation.-pops-I agree wholeheartedly !This is a very quick 10 second fix - for just one of the many items you wouldn't want to lose.Proper full system and/or data backups should also be done regularly ! andsome
I transferred all my e-mail addresses, messages that I wanted to save etc straight to a floppy, why should you need a special tool to do this?
