Thanks Nel

NTL tried by using a Proxy but no good. It's the only site I'm having trouble with.

The thing is that I've got 2 PCs on a network behind a router, one XP and the other 98se.

Neither of them work.

Tried the ctl F5 :( (Never heard of that one before)

Does it matter where you're located - I know andsome's in Staffs and I'm in Warks.

Would they use different servers from you Nel?

NTL is a franchise. It is possible that the servers are dependent on area.. If I get a problem, the engineers are usually sent out by Coventry. Why not phone NTL again, and ask them to talk you through setting a local proxy. You will probably find that Outlook Express will not work then, so you will need them to give you the Outlook Express settings as well.

Hurdy.... I can't really see anything out of place on your log. The only thing I'm not sure of is this.

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyOverride = 127.0.0.1

It looks from that like any proxy is being diverted straight back to your machine.

You can have a go at fixing it using HJT if you like but put the HJT exe file in a folder first.

If it messes up you can always put it back using the config button on HJT
