My views on religion, ALL religions have been well aired on this forum before. I think that ALL religions have good and bad people in them, but unfortunately religion has led to more wars and bloodshed over the years than anything else you care to name. One type of Muslim fights another, and both fight Christians, Jews, Hindu's etc. The different Christian religions fight each other, etc etc, you all know what I mean. I believe that there can only be ONE God, and if you believe in God, then your God is exactly the same as the other persons God. It's just crazy that people fight each other because they disagree on how to worship their God. God can be inside you without religion. If I want to say a prayer, I say it in private, without the need for men in funny hats and frocks. Having said that I respect other peoples wish to go to a place of worship, with the men in funny hats and frocks if they so want, but for pity's sake DON'T FIGHT OVER IT.

I don't think ammonium nitrate is available as a garden fertiliser. I do think, though, that ICI check on the destinations of the material supplied but, considering the quantities that are sold, half a tonne (20 x 25Kg bags) is a very small amount and, on a reasonably sized farm, would hardly be missed.

Even so, we must not under-estimate the explosive potential of even this quantity. I remember a demonstration, when I was a student, of a champagne bottle filled with ammonium nitrate which was detonated by a small electrical firing cap. It was a very spectacular and loud explosion and the only part of the bottle that could be identified afterwards was a small portion of the neck.
