Andy-2004 Posted March 31, 2004 Report Share Posted March 31, 2004 For those of you who read the PCA mag you may well of noticed that on page 129(second paragraph which actually advises people to get "kazaa"Also in the April edition...on page 92 onwards...more pacifically the blue box at the top of pg 94.....which states the name and URL of every P2P programme under the sun :unsure: how do they get away with this i thought there were laws about discussing P2P matters?Andy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It is not illegal to use it either, trouble is, it is usually used to download copyright stuff, Music or Software and that is very illegal ! :rolleyes:>BTW this is NOT a subject for debate - all you will get are personal opinions and rants, if that happens the thread will be closed. Sir Radfordin Posted March 31, 2004 Report Share Posted March 31, 2004 P2P software can be used for exchanging many things, whilst it seems that most of the content is copyright material that people have no right to distribute in this way no-one can state this for a fact (at this time.)PCA can (and will) do what it likes, if it wants to suggest the use of P2P systems like Kazza then there is nothing to stop it from doing so.As northamuk points out this is something that everyone has a view on and the stance taken by PCA does seem contradictory but that isn't "our" problem.
