Guest Clint
Hi Boris - I noticed in a previous post that you use SlimBrowser. I have downloaded and installed it. I rather like the appearance and ease of use and the features it presents. My question is, does it have any disadvantages over IE? and could I dispense with IE altogether? Prince of Calcutta
most of these browsers are usually an add on to ie. could you post a link? i'd like to give it a try too.

Prince of Calcutta
hi just installed it so far so good :D how do i open a new tab?
Guest Clint
If you log on to another site, PCA say. Another tab appears and you can toggle between the two. Or if you login to the chatroom another tab appears. Hope this helps.
Guest Clint
Ravin - I hasten to add that I'm not expert with this software. I only installed it yesterday. So I am waiting for Boris to view this thread. He may be able to offer some insights for us.

Tony
HiI have just installed it, and looking at it, it seems the same as Crazy Browser which i have had for the last year.I don't think that you will be able to get rid of IE, as this uses IE. As Prince of Calcutta has said before it is a plug in / add on for IE.To proove it if you click the "Clean all Traces" button it removes all cookies and history out of IE.Just look at it as IE with tabbed browsing and a couple more extras. All the bestTony
Guest Clint
Thanks for that Tony. I think that I will keep SlimBrowser. It seems to be an efficient piece of software. :)
Boris
ClintEvening ! Just in after 6 hour drive down M1, M42, M5 + knackered.Yes it is an IE add-on with extra bells + whistles.Unlike CrazyBrowser which has had nil development in the last 6 months, this is still being improved. Seems more stable to me than Crazy Browser and I do like the 9 different integrated search engines, tabs and pop-up blocker built in. Guest Clint
Hi Boris - yes I agree, I haven't explored all the options yet but it looks to have potential.Bye the way, after that drive, go and have a lie down and relax.

Guest Shirley_Crabtree
I use Slimbrowser all the time but I have 1 complaint....It occasionally sees windows as pop-ups and kills them when it shouldn't do!Other than that it is excellent :)
