It seems no matter how many times I defrag there is always something that just won’t go away. Anything I should be worried about?

My laptop only has 192 megs of RAM, so I want to disable everything possible from the start menu. What might that be?

Well 'ctfmon.exe' doesn't look like something I use, but the steps to disable it gave me a headache. And I'm NOT unchecking ZA or I'll be doing another clean install.

Office and Adobe are definitely getting the boot. What is Adobe Gamma Loader?

Thanks

Well, my problems are not over yet.

This morning when I started up Windows went part way thru the install then I got a screen full of snow. I had to manually power off. The second boot went normally. When I made a change in msconfig and rebooted I got the snow screen again. And after restarting normally I got this message:

capture1.jpg

I checked the box but did not change back to normal start up, restarted, got snow, restarted normally; then checked the Task Manager. The start-up processes that I left checked are running. I’m a little concerned about the ‘snow’. Any ideas?

Thanks
