Opto Posted April 17, 2004 Author Report Share Posted April 17, 2004 Well 'ctfmon.exe' doesn't look like something I use, but the steps to disable it gave me a headache. :rolleyes: And I'm NOT unchecking ZA or I'll be doing another clean install.Office and Adobe are definitely getting the boot. Opto Posted April 17, 2004 Author Report Share Posted April 17, 2004 Well, my problems are not over yet.This morning when I started up Windows went part way thru the install then I got a screen full of snow. I had to manually power off. The second boot went normally. When I made a change in msconfig and rebooted I got the snow screen again. And after restarting normally I got this message:I checked the box but did not change back to normal start up, restarted, got snow, restarted normally; then checked the Task Manager.
