Creditman
In Windows XP Home after using this to recalibrate my monitor & completing the procedure, I get the desired result. But when I shutdown & restart, the monitor comes on with the original settings, so I have to do it all again. This does'nt happen if I hibernate instead of standby or turn off. Why is this & how do I overcome it ? Thanks
Agent Smith
Hello Creditman, and welcome to the Forum.Right, I am no expert on this, but I believe that what you have to do is set the monitor up as you would like, then save the settings as a profile. Once this is done, you can go into the advanced settings for your Graphics card, and I believe that under Colour Management, you can then apply the profile to be used as the default. Is it safe for me to assume you have a product such as Adobe Photoshop (assumption based on the fact you are using the Adobe Gamma program)? If so, I think there is some information about this in the help files for the program.I hope this info helps, if not, perhaps somebody with better knowledge of this issue will reply.Regards. Mr. Mouse.
