try reinstalling Xfire it should reinstall the necessary .dll

if you log in with an admin account you may be able to alter your firewall settings.

Well to start i am the one and only admin....but uninstalling x-fire seemed to fix it (after a reboot)...so now msn works but X-fire dosent...but that another story for another day

but im happy...il sort it out tomorrow or somthing :)
