Europe's own auditors have refused to approve the EU's annual accounts for the ninth year running because the official figures are so distrusted.

The UK is the second biggest payer into the EU coffers after Germany, with a gross contribution of £9.5 billion.

We must vote 'no'

The findings, by Britain's most respected financial watchdog, the National Audit Office, are hugely embarrassing to Neil Kinnock, the former Labour leader, who is now the £165,000-a-year European commissioner in charge of eradicating corruption.
....

Dear oh dear...he's obviously taking MORE than £165,000-a-year...allegedly :shifty:

Who is at all surprised????????????????????????????????

It's not a case of not being surprised.

We have an opportunity in the referendum.

We must vote 'no'

The problem is that Cheesy will cache the referendum terms in such a way with scare stories etc, that the masses will be duped into voting YES. He can act in very devious ways, as we have been shown in the past. He doesn't seem to care how much he rides roughshod over people.

Kinnock , wife and his son have definitely found the road to Brussels paved with gold .......

A dumping ground for all the countries inept politicos ...(witness Mandy's desperation to get a job there )

It sort of reminds me about the public utilities being made private ....The biggest pushers were the directors , who would make substantial sums in share and pay awards , and then the gravy train politicos would would end up on the boards with wonga in the pocket .....But did the services actually improve at their point of use ...? as if ...........

Cheesy 's pension plan origionally was him, seeing the hand of history shoving him into the position of Europrez .....but hes burnt a few bridges now with the monkey on his back .....

So I guess there is (only) one positive outcome of the Iraq farce.

the masses will be duped into voting YES.

Probably - but if we roll over then we've got no chance.

The internet is the only place where an ordinary person's views can be read by many.

If each of us spreads the word then we might convince some people.

A forlorn hope I know when you're up against the Government machine.

At the risk of incurring the wrath of a certain member I will once again suggest you have a good look at http://www.angelfire.com/realm3/accord. Therein lies the solution long term, but the problem is how to finance the whole thing.

The Fraud is not just political, it is in the whole of current "civilisation". It encompasses education, finance, religion, health, business and everything that springs from them.

I am pleased that I am not just setting out on life's weary path. Unfortunately, it seems that whenever older people try to pass on information and views, gained through a lifetime of observing the scum as it rises to the top, they are told to stop moaning. However, it is not until the mechanisms of fraud have been seen repeated a few times, that the manner and intention of their uses is recognised and then the out come becomes predictable.

...Don't I go on???

I hope you don't mean me - I'd be mortified if you did.

Democratic reality page 3 on link

Real democracy can only be achieved by getting the consensus view of all the population on every matter, prior to enacting rules, laws, etc. on that matter

moons been banging on about edemocracy since Turing built Colossus in 1943.
