Guest Drovers Dog
:P Monkey,Something to know about Win3.1, Win95 and Win98SE, each one uses a different FAT System!!In particular, with Win3.1 there is no going back! So if Win95 or Win98SE has been on that System, you may have heaps of problems to get it to recognise Win3.1!To get around the Floppy Drive only input, I would suggest the following, as long as you have a Legal and valid Key Number to activate it!Remove the HDD, insert into another Machine as a Slave, copy the Win98SE or Win95 install Program onto the HDD!(BTW the above is quite legal, as the actual Program is Licienced, not the CD that is on, you are entitled to make Back up Copies, copy onto your HDD, as long as you are not doing it for someone else's use, to subvert the EULO Agreement!)Reinstall the HDD back into the Laptop, then use a Win98se Start up Disk to boot up, then install from your HDD!Afterwards, if you are short of space you can delete the Install Program, but if possible leave it there, as you install things it will know where the Win Install Disk is!!I you need a Start up Disk, PM me, I can send you a copy!! :censored: :D
