andsome
'Er indoors is a member of this little group of amateurs. It is a very new site and does not as yet have very much on it, but they are all enjoying themselves, and it gets 'er indoors out of my hair on Friday evenings. The friday Painting Group

Sir T Fireball
I really like the 'Christ Church' pen & ink. Such a tricky medium to master. My fave was the 'Snow Scene' though. Looks almost identical to one of the pieces I did for my art 'A' level way back when  Yes Moonie, Art 'A' level :o but don't even think about trying to head-hunt me for your gallery :P

andsome
It's funny really, 'ER indoors had never painted at all, but always said that she fancied having a go. Two or three years ago I bought her a kids paint box and some paper and said "here, have a go then". When she was doing voluntary work for Age concern someone told her that they were thinking of forming a small group, and it has grown from there. They now have some more recent members who will no doubt be posted to the site soon. This is why I got so annoyed a little while ago, when one of our younger members was moaning about being bored. The lesson is if something that you fancy doing isn't available, then get together with like minded people and DO IT YOURSELF, instead of moaning and expecting others to provide your entertainment for you. artist
I enjoyed that. :) I started the same way - always wanted to have a go at painting - in 1991 I did it. Joined the local art group - exhibit some - and still go to classes.Computer is taking over a bit more now, though.
