Mouse problems

Recommended Posts

Little fingers were messing with my keyboard when I wasn't looking... now I'm finding that I have to click two or three times on a link or a folder etc to open it or get it to work. I have checked my mouse settings... they seem ok. Anyone got any ideas?

It is an optical ps2 mouse that is plugged in!

Check the mouse settings in Control Panel although I don't think there's any options in there that would be useful.

Try a different mouse (or remove the chocolate from under the buttons)

Remove it from Device Manager and hope it redetects it when you reboot.

Good excuse for a new, powerful computer?

I've already checked the mouse settings..... might remove it from device manager and reboot though! Didn't think of that. It is just annoying more than anything! And my spare mouse is lent out to someone and I don't think I will see that again!!! :(

Probably not a good idea right now... I'm not in a good mood! The afore mentioned two year old has just presented me with a dirty protest. Scooped out the considerable contents of the night time nappy and spread it everywhere....
