For who knows and understands well pleaaaaaaaaaaaaase

I have a problem in windows xp the internet connection is always connected at 50 or 48 kbps and the internet explorer is very slow in downloading the pages and sometimes the "page connot be displayed" message appears , but when i download a file with a download program it downloads it with the normal speed but after many tries in downloading a page with internet explorer the download program also becomes unable to download, and i when i log on to windows ME the internet is very fast and there is no problems

i wanna know if the problem is with my installed programs or its an adware or virus..

and i have another question :

can stopping some services to speed up the start up be the reason for that?

Reduce your boldness and font size if you reply... we understand you.

Clear out ALL temp files, Tools, Internet Options, Delete Files. Also Delete Cookies...

Run Disk Defrag

Go to start, run, type, msconfig, click startup and remove all the ticks apart from AntiVirus and firewall if you are running them...

Then post a hijack this log: http://www.windowsforum.org/forum/index.php?showforum=53

Who is your ISP? The people who give you your internet?

How much RAM do you have installed?

HI

Last time i experienced the same thing, was at a customer that had his hole network infected with Blaster, MyDoom worms...

So.. my only suggestion is:

1. Scan for viruses and remove all found (ofc.)

2. Run Ad-Aware and remove all adware ++

3. Run Hijack and post result here.
