catgate
I am puzzled. I recently installed Firefox, and, although I find it a bit slower than IE, I seem to have been using it almost exclusively since installation. As part of my routine 'Housekeeping' I do a disk cleanup every two or three days. Imagine my surprise when I had no Temp Internet files. Does Firefox not store them? If it does where does it put them. I have looked in its Directory and can see none.
christmascracker
Open Firefox, tools, options, privacy. You can clear the internet cache (temp files), passwords, history and cookies. You can also change the size for the cache here too.

Yes, I had poked about long enough to have found these little bits, but I had not found where it keeps all the stuff between it coming in and its being deleted. I like to have a chance to check for anything I might want to keep, prior to heaving out all the dross. Hence my interest in where it is located on my HDD.

catgate
If you're on XP that is. Can't remember where the other versions keep their stuffI'm an old fashioned sort at heart, and so I am still using 98SE (and I have not seen any need to change to something that dose not have usable DOS). However, thanks for the clue, I will see what I can find.
