andsome
Had a look at the comp rigs and felt totally intimidated! Is it just me who has an 'ordinary' computer?I would have posted a pic but I thought you'd all laugh at me..... :(Why should you feel intimidated, and why should anyone laugh? Do you need whistles and bells? When I had my computer built locally about eighteen months ago, I bought and paid for EXACTLY what I wanted and needed. I had nothing out of the ordinary. I am only interestd in e-mails, the internet, desktop publishing, and my digital photo's. As long as your machine does exactly what you want it to do, why worry about other peoples machines? Guest Drovers Dog
:P I have to agree with Andsome, it really is a case, (Tongue in cheek) of using what you have, no matter how small, to get the job YOU want done! You don't need a "You Beaut System" to have a bit of Fun, and just relax!Actually, some of the older Systems, using other than XP, out perform XP used on the "You Beaut Systems!"Just my 2P worth! :D

Scarecrow Man
I had a 386 untill windows 98 came out. after that I've been using a 800, P3 for 3 or 4 years now. I've had no problems with it, and if I need to do something that I can't I do a simple upgrade, like a HD, or RAM, or vid card.I work with MANY computers, daily, and I see so many 'cutting' edge computers that people have, and they don't use it for anything but solitaire, and e-mail.Seems kind of pointless, but hey. If you got the money......
