bu6z Posted July 14, 2004 Report Share Posted July 14, 2004 After installing Windows XP Professional, I joined my PC to the Windows 2003 Domain. I could login without any problem. After that, I decided to install Service Pack 1a, and it installed successfully. But the problem now, I can't login to my PC anymore (both domain and local). nellie2 Posted July 14, 2004 Report Share Posted July 14, 2004 Just had another thought, if you can boot into Windows under safe mode you could disable the 'automatic restart on system failure' feature, this would allow you to troubleshoot the problem.Right click My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Startup and Recovery Settings then uncheck the radio button that says automatic restart. I've follow your direction to disable the 'automatic restart on system failure' feature. I try to login back to my XP. But wow.....it doesn't restart anymore, but a BLUE SCREEN appearing with a STOP MESSAGE. wallbash It said :STOP: 0000007E (0XC0000005,0XF32E6509,0XF7AFC9E0,0XF7AFC6E0)Unfortunately, I don't have a SP1 installer even when I try to find it in Microsoft's website.Is it an HCL problem between a fresh XP and SP1a XP ? bu6z Posted July 16, 2004 Author Report Share Posted July 16, 2004 Ya....lastly I know that there's a problem on Hardware Compatibility. I've change my Video Adapter and my Sound Card, and try to re-install WinXP and SP1a. There's the same problem. So, I think the problem is with my Motherboard compatibility with SP1a, of course BIOS version too.After I upgrade my BIOS to a newer version, it's solved.
