moon
Yes. It's time the UK took on the role of international policeman.

-pops-
UK troops should be exclusively protecting UK sovereignty. The Sudan is nothing at all to do with the UK ergo keep out.The United Nations is the organisation created to deal with international events such as is happening in the Sudan. There is no good reason for the UK or any other state to poke their noses in there or in any of the other places in the world where many are wont to do.I should add, though, that the UN are very tardy in their response to the situation. Tankus
Needs the US onside for any reasonable force to be applied , but they are stretched to reservists on active duty in Afghanistan and Iraq , plus there is no incentive either minerally or commercally in the Sudan ...Its a money hole .... Germans , French and Dutch , perhaps ...?
Sir T Fireball
I would back UK troops going in under the UN flag. Preferably without US 'help'
Scarecrow Man
Yes, but not the way US went into iraq.
djohn
I also voted yes. I have more to lose than some forum members but still feel our forces should go to help protect others that are not capable of defending themselves against tyrants. :(
