Guest Ax Slinger
Here's what I posted at the Pit just now...I get it now... We were moved last night.Ya know in two years, there's never been a single time that I have gone to the forum and there has been absolutely nobody here. And there wasn't anyone there all night. So about 5:00 am I got curious and edited my Hosts file, and put a # in the line for the forum. I tried it and got a MySQL error. I took the # out, and the forum worked fine. I put it back, and the error returned. I took it out again and the forum worked again. So I knew then that IPS was moving the forum to the new server, and it wasn't quite ready for action yet. After I got up today I tried that again, and the old IP address still worked, but the new one did as well. I don't know why that is happening, but in the interest of not losing what you post, I suggest you either remove the Host entry if you have one, or use the new IP address as it seems to work for me.Old IP: 208.42.236.10 pcpitstop.ibforums.comNew IP: 207.44.246.43 pcpitstop.ibforums.com
