Chris
Spilt tea all over my keyboard, some of the keys are harder to push and some keys appear to have two functions...Short circuit? :oLeft it overnight "appears" to be "ok" although it doesn't feel like it used to.:(
christmascracker
Do your keys not come off? If they do you could always take them all off and give it a wash. Take ages though :P
djohn
I'm serious on this one Chris. Place your keyboard in a bowl of warm lightly soapy water and give a good wash. use a soft brush to scrub round the keys. Rinse well and turn upside down to drain, leave overnight or longer in the airing cupboard to dry completely and it will work as good as new, even better as it will be nice and clean.I did this with my keyboard last year thinking I had nothing to lose and would buy a new one anyway, it came up perfect. moon
That's a dinkum tip, I've done it too. Don't boil your motherboard though. :D
expertec
Put CPUs and hard drives in the freezer, yes. Boil motherboard, no?
Intratech
I'm not joking here:Take the whole keyboard and wash it and then put it to dry properly to clean out the tea and when it's dry plug it back it.
Scarecrow Man
You can put your keyboard in the dishwasher, if you have one. Seriously! I've done it after spilling pop on it... heh.The only thing is, make sure it's not plugged in when your washing it, and let it dry for at least a few hours. Maybe even take it apart and wash it so it dries faster.
