swifter_uk
I have been trying to upload Word (.doc) files to my forum that is running the latest Invision software but I find I cannot view them from my machine afterwards unless I download them...I am presented with a blank grey screen with READ ONLY across the header.Someone else on my forum has reported the same behaviour to me, but when I have asked at Invision support, it is suggested some security setings could be wrong in my browser?I will attempt to upload a file here if allowed & report what happpens...Can anyone please let me know if they have experienced this problem.oops..looks like this forum is not enabled to accept word docs :whistling:AGM_minutes2003.doc

nellie2
use the google toolbar if all you want is a pop up blocker, I don't clean the Yahoo companion from logs.... it is supposed to detect spyware but is selective in the spyware it detects!!! see here

Scarecrow Man
It works in Firefox.. It opens a new page and asks me to open or save, I click open and it opens in word. It doesn't open in the browser though. (I've noticed I can open word documents in IE at home.. can't remember how, where or why though :P)
