AlanHo
I am so delighted to be back here - it seems a bit churlish to bring up problems at such an early stage - but perhaps someone can quickly help.Every time I open WF - I have to log on even though the "Remember me" box is ticked. This is a new problem and did not happen in our former life.My Avatar (and some other peoples) is not working. I have deleted and reloaded it but to no avail.PSMay I make a suggestion - I think I may have mentioned it previously. There is nowhere on the WF board for us to post problems with the WF Forum itself. The WF forum section is restricted - only Admin can open a new topic - fair enough - but it would be nice if we had a dedicated section to post our problems and suggestions. Scarecrow Man
Some wierd things are happening. I suggest just posting them, so the admins know what needs fixing, and wait a few weeks while bugs are worked out.

How careless of me.Howsabout the log on problem - are others having to log on every time and enter their name and password like me? Perhaps I am doing something dumb again
bvw
I had to log-on, yes. Using Opera it's just CTRL+Enter.

AlanHo
I do the same. I just went to visit elsewhere - clicked 'home' - and here I am. :)You brought me luck artist - I logged on and off the Forum several times this evening and suddenly it has started working OK. Don't know why though - I didn't touch it your honour.Edit - Saturday 11th 0730 hrsNo - it was too good to be true - this morning when I booted the computer the problem returned. Tried closing and logging back on several times but still no good. It's strange because all other forums I visit are behaving OK and I am not having to enter my username and password - it is just WF that is playing up.I took a risk and opened my cookies folder using Explorer. There I found several cookies titled [email protected][1].txt : [email protected][2].txt etc going on up to [5].txt. I deleted them all. I then logged on to WF and entered my user name etc with "remember me" ticked. I then closed WF and when I opened it again all was OK. Another visit to cookies showed that one new one had been created. I have always wondered what cookies do - now I know. You learn something every day don't you. moon
Testing av.Edit. Cool. My cookie crumbles though. I have to keep logging back.Edit 2. Sussed it. Just hit 'Delete cookies set by this board' at the bottom of the forums page and then log in. It must clear any bad cookies from the site server.
