artist
I have always saved gifs to tag on to emails. Since downloading SP2 today, they are static in the file ( file not found, it said)I tried sending one to me and it's fine. Any ideas why they won't move in the file? It's obvoiously not a big deal - but I just wondered why.
nellie2
What do you view them with?
artist
What do you view them with?I've always just clicked on them in the file in 'my pictures'. It's all happened there.I'm not even getting an option to open them with anything. As you see, one uploaded ok for my avatar.
artist
Update:for some reason, Quicktime decided it would be the viewer for all my pictures.Normally I had them to open in PSP.Have uninstalled Quicktime - didn't really use it - and now all is back ok and the animations animate in the file as before. :)
andsome
When you install programs like quicktime. be very careful after the initial install, not to tick to make that program the default for opening thingies. Watch what you are doing.
Scarecrow Man
Yep. Quicktime asks you during install what file types it should handle. Tsk Tsk artist! :P

Watch what you are doing. It's been on my computer since I got it - I probably installed it back then.I didn't even have it in start up - never used it - had it there for the odd thing on the net that needed it.I guess SP2 must have changed a few settings somewhere?Fine now, anyway. :)
