trackrat
Is it possible to install SP2 with the Norton firewall in place and end up with 2 firewalls.Because a friend at work has just installed SP2 and now he cannot download from certain sites. When I installed SP2 on my computer it detected my ZA firewall and switched the windows firewall off.I am asking this because I cannot think of any other reason why He cannot download from certain sites after installing SP2, whereas before the install he could download from these sites. Scarecrow Man
Could be possible. Norton should be detected by SP2 though shouldn't it?

andsome
I turned off Norton AV and firewall while the installation took place. SP2 detected them both and gave me the options of managing them both myself. I turned them both back on of course after the installation.
