thegooch49
Hi gang, is there a setting to change the background color (not the page, but what surrounds it) in Print Layout in Word '03? Right now it's brown, and I can't figure out how to chnage it. I tried changing the Windows appearance, but couldn't find it. Anyone know how to change this? Scarecrow Man
I know what your talking about, but I don't think you can change it. I also have Office 2003, but have not seen the option.
-pops-
Interesting this.I have one machine with a grey background on Word and another with a sort of olive green. Both machines are running Office XP. I have no idea why these are different and I've searched aplenty since your query but can't find any method of changing them.I ought to add, though, this has never bothered me very much. I'm more interested what's on the page rather than the colour of the table that the page is sitting on.
christmascracker
Does this not depend on what colour settings you choose in display properties? (control panel, display, appearance, colour scheme)in xp)For example, if I have silver then the border for all windows is silver, yet if I have the default blue then it's blue
thegooch49
Thanks for the reply. Mine currently displays an olive green almost brown color. I checked control panel, display, appearance, colour scheme and changed lots of these, and neither of them made a change to this. I know it's a very small issue, and not a big deal. Just wondered if there was a way. Thanks again for the help.
D4\/!d
Thanks for the warning. I shall not be using Word 2003. I do not like an olive green almost brown colour.
