They're excellent. I love her 'slant' on things. I especially like the children in the trees and the allotment pictures.

I've been influenced for the past four years, starting with a little magazine-cover App. called 'Repligator' Using the 'Effects' options in apps. like Photoshop and Paintshop are stimulating for new directions, although using them per se is a bit naff and unoriginal.

I don't see how any modern painter can ignore computers. They are a new dimension, limited only in that they are essentially a two-dimensional medium and devoid of texture. True, virtual 3-D and texture are already sophisticated but who wants 'virtual' when you can have 'real' ?

The camera had a giant impact on painting and computers are another major influence. Painters that don't use them are in danger of becoming 'quaint' :D There will, no doubt, be a division between 'traditionalists' and 'modernists', just like there always has been, but 'traditionalists' can't even justify their own description, I mean, cave painting came before tube pigments and Leonardo's Theory of Perspective but you don't hear them clamouring for a return to hand-ground colour and a slab of stone to work on , do you ? :D

Well put nellie, I agree. The concave and convex effects look very cool, smooth subtle lines and a creative view really make these paintings look incredible.
