cdanjon
Every 30 seconds I get an error message as follows: Error loading C:\progra~1\INTERN~3\inetkw.dll. The specific module could not be found. This message began displaying immediately after I was screwing around with the registry. (Like I knew what I was doing). Of course, I was trying to tweak my kids computer. Its a dell P4 running XP with all current updates and patches. Please advise.

trackrat
It sounds like you have the Pepper trojan, so go to this URL http://www.downloads.subratam.org/hijackthis.zipdownload HiJack this and unzip it to its own folder, do not run it from a temporary folder, then copy and paste the saved log for one of the experts to look at.If you need help to download and run this HJT this is a good totorial.http://www.netstar.me.uk/hjt/hjt.html
Scarecrow Man
I don't think this is the Pepper trojan, but it is very possible. A HijackThis log would show it more clearly.Try this in the mean time.Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programslook for something called Internet Manager, or Internet Optimizer and remove it.
