The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman. It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "donating a mammogram" for free (pink window in the middle). This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogramin exchange for advertising! Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know. Will you all PLEASE take time EVERY day to click on this site, then click the back button and click onto one of the other sites, going back in turn from each one and on to the next. Put one of the sites into FAVOURITES and click EVERY singe day. After all how long does it take? Please note that only one click per day per site will actually register, so it is a wast of time to click several times per day, unless you go to the trouble of deleting cookies after each click. I posted this on PCA on Thursday, FE sent me a very nice email telling me he had removed the thread because as you say it wasn't about computers and even though it is a very good cause, if he allowed one thread like that then he would have to allow others.I pm'd Topband last night to let him know what FE had said. Thanks Pop for reminding everyone that men get breast cancer too - it is just as devastating to blokes as it is to the females - rather a lot of people have the reaction 'I didn't know men could get it'. Look after yourselves chaps - top and bottom .As well as clicking to sponsor free mammograms (which I regularly do - thanks for the link andsome) please remember to stick £1 in the boxes located this month in loads of shops/business and get your Pink Ribbon Badge (some look like my avatar). Wear your Pink Ribbon this month folks (I wear mine all year round - it reminds me that, contrary to what advertising says, with breast cancer you don't get an 'all clear'.
