I have been using a cordless keyboard and mouse (optical) at home for years now and I wish I hade the same facility at work (particularly the optical mouse). I use Logitech gear and the mouse is brilliant. Since I've moved across to Firefox I'm a bit restricted with what I can do with the hot keys on my keyboard, drivers are not yet available to support Mozilla.You are definitely starting with the better option (cordless optical mouse) if you don't want to spend too much. Rechargeable is a great idea, although in my experience batteries last well on a heavily used mouse.Had a some Belkin equipment at one point for kids use but it was not good. -pops- Posted January 3, 2005 Report Share Posted January 3, 2005 I've always shunned cordless keyboards and mice until a few weeks ago when I fixed myself up with an OEM M$ keyboard and mouse bundle from Scan - this oneI had to get the software for the fancy operations from the MS website but I'm very pleased with the setup and I'm going to get another two for my other machines.It's claimed the batteries last six months. They are AA size and I think there are two in each part.Note both keyboard and mouse only have the basic functions when first installed.
